The Coggeshall Community Bus is  a unique service run and operated totally by volunteers. The bus provides morning and evening runs to and from Kelvedon railway station, as well as local midday runs to provide an invaluable transport link around Coggeshall. The bus operates on a not-for-profit basis, and is completely self financing. The current air conditioned Mercedes vehicle entered service in September 2017.
Covid19 Latest
With the nationwide lockdown continuing, our previous plans to attempt a restart of the service have had to be put on hold. However, with the vaccine rollout continuing at a fast pace, we will re-evaluate when we can start the service again when the government timetable for easing things up becomes clearer during the late spring into early summer, when the majority of adults will have had at least one dose of the vaccine, and work patterns will start to return to something closer to normality.

We are continually reviewing the ever changing situation and will provide more information on a potential restart of the service as and when it is available. Rest assured though, we will restart the service at the earliest opportunity, once we are sure that all safety considerations of our passengers and volunteer drivers are fully met.

We are continualy maintaining the vehicle to keep it fully ready for service and have equipped it with Covid seat screens as well as a sanitising station.

In the meantime, keep yourself and your families safe and well, and we look forward to welcoming you as a passenger again very soon.
