The Coggeshall Community Bus is a unique service run and operated totally by volunteers. The bus provides morning and evening runs to and from Kelvedon railway station, as well as local midday runs to provide an invaluable transport link around Coggeshall. The bus operates on a not-for-profit basis, and is completely self financing. The current air conditioned Mercedes vehicle entered service in September 2017.
Our current plan for a resumption of our service is to start a reduced service morning and evening to Kelvedon Station. We are currently looking at early July to commence this reduced timetable. When we have a start date and the details of the new temporary timetable, we will post the details here on the web site.
We are continually maintaining the vehicle to keep it fully ready for service and have equipped it with Covid seat screens as well as a sanitising station.
We are allways in need of volunteer drivers, so if your work pattern etc. has changed and you would now be available to drive the bus even just once a month, please get in touch with us. Details on volunteering can be found on our Volunteering Page
In the meantime, keep yourself and your families safe and well, and we look forward to welcoming you as a passenger again very soon.
