The Coggeshall Community Bus is a unique service, and is run and operated completely by volunteers. The bus provides morning and evening runs to and from Kelvedon railway station. The bus operates on a not-for-profit basis, and is completely self financing. The current air conditioned Mercedes vehicle entered service late in 2023.
CHANGE TO OUR SERVICE NEXT WEEK
16TH – 19TH FEBRUARY
The Gravel will be closed for most of next week, meaning that entry to the town centre via that route will be suspended. On these days, we will run a shuttle service to Kelvedon station from Abbey Lane (off Bridge Street). We consider this to be the most workable and safe solution.
We will do our best to operate in line with our normal morning and evening timetables, albeit over this shorter route.
We appreciate that passengers will need to walk up to Abbey Lane and to set out a little earlier to reach the bus in time (nb Market Hill to Abbey Lane takes, around, 5 minutes). We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
