The Coggeshall Community Bus is a unique service run and operated totally by volunteers. The bus provides morning and evening runs to and from Kelvedon railway station, as well as local midday runs to provide an invaluable transport link around Coggeshall. The bus operates on a not-for-profit basis, and is completely self financing. The current air conditioned Mercedes vehicle entered service in September 2017.
Our current plan is to resume our morning and evening Kelvedon station service on Monday 13th September. Based on our understanding that Greater Anglia will revert to its full timetable, with effect from the 12th of September, our service will then operate to our pre-Covid19 timetable (i.e. 23rd September 2019 version)
At present we have no plans to resume the Tuesday and Thursday midday service.
We are very short of volunteer drivers, so if your work pattern etc. has changed and you would now be available to drive the bus even just once a month, or if you know someone who could volunteer, please get in touch with us. Details on volunteering can be found by clicking on the "Our Service" button and select Volunteer.
We look forward to welcoming you as a passenger again very soon.
