The Coggeshall Community Bus is a unique service run and operated totally by volunteers. The bus provides morning and evening runs to and from Kelvedon railway station, as well as local midday runs to provide an invaluable transport link around Coggeshall. The bus operates on a not-for-profit basis, and is completely self financing. The current air conditioned Mercedes vehicle entered service in September 2017.

Kelvedon Road Road Closure
You may have seen the notice about Coggeshall Road being closed for 3 days from 29th September.
We have been advised by Anglian Water that their work (to stop the leak near the corner of Scrip's Road) will be done overnight, between 7pm on Wednesday 29th and 6am Thursday 30th. They seem confident that the work will be completed by 6am on Thursday.
We will do our best to operate our usual service on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning but
PLEASE NOTE that our final run from Market Hill (7:15pm) and return journey on Wednesday may have
to be via Feering Road. Similarly, some of our earlier services to and from Kelvedon station on Thursday
morning may have to be via Feering Road.
We are still very short of volunteer drivers, so if your work pattern etc. has changed and you would now be available to drive the bus even just once a month, or if you know someone who could volunteer, please get in touch with us. Details on volunteering can be found by clicking on the "Our Service" button and select Volunteer. If you are thinking about possibly driving the bus, but are unsure if you would be able to drive it, why not get in touch with us, and we will arrange a no obligation whatsoever trial drive in the bus.
